Important Dates/Venue

The IUCr 2014 Conference will take place at the Palais des congrès de Montréal located in Montréal, Québec, Canada.  Located in the heart of Montréal, the Palais des congrès has gained an excellent reputation for its hospitality, superior services and functional flexible facilities.  It has obtained the GO Green certification from BOMA-Québec, in recognition of its commitment and efforts in improving environmental practices in the management of buildings and organizations. IUCr 2014 will take place from August 5-12, 2014.  Target Timelines and important deadlines will be listed on this page as the planning progresses.

 

 

  • Early Bird Registration Deadline:
 Before and until May 1, 2014.
  • Speaker / Poster Presenter Registration Deadline:
 May 1, 2014.
 
  • Abstract Submission Deadline:
 February 11, 2014. EXTENDED TO FEB 18, 2014
  • Author Notification of Acceptance:
Mid- April 2014.
 
  • Accommodations Deadline:
Until blocks are sold out or June 25, 2014, whichever comes first.
 
  • Tours Subscription Deadline:
48 hours before each tour but minimum needs to be reached by July 22, 2014 in order for the tour to take place.
